The Principality of Zion is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zion Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable leads a raid on the space colony Storon 7. There he discovers the Earth Federation’s new weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam, abandoned. He then decides to steal it, setting in motion a domino effect that will forever change history as we know it. Five years later, on the independent colony Storon 6, a young Newtype finds herself drawn into the search for the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. Soon events unfold so that she finds herself in the pilot’s seat of the new prototype Gundam GQuuuuuuX and taking part in underground mobile suit fighting competitions. Surrounded by new friends, she tries to understand her strange abilities and find her place in the world, dreaming of the sky, where she can fly freely.
